Interview By: Jesse Anthony

Let's start the interview by letting everyone know who you are, where your from and currently living.
My name is Brendan Leddy I'm from Perry Maine. Right now I am currently living in Long island NY.

Seems like it would have been hard to grow up skating a small town in Maine, was it ever frustrating to find new things to skate and stay stoked?
Yeah it was always a challenge finding spots, I would usually have to drive about an hour and a half to skate anything decent. Most of the time I would just skate the local skatepark with my best friend.

You just had a video part in the new Chapman video, I've heard lots of good stuff about it. Were you happy with the way it turned out?
Yeah, it took forever to film it seemed like, but I am happy with the way it turned out. The premiere was really sick too, a lot more people showed up than I though there was going to be.

When will people be able to get their hands on a copy of the video?
I don't know hopefully soon I still don't even have a copy.

You took a break from skating for a bit what happened there? Just wasn't stoked to skate at the time?

I don't really know I just put so much time and effort in the Chapman video I just needed a break form everything it felt like. I almost felt kinda burnt out. I took some time off and worked. Once I started skating again it was more fun and I remembered the fundamentals of why I even started skating. I realized it wasn't something I wanted to do for a career also and I just wanted to skate for the love of it, does that make sense?

Yeah makes sense, I was talking to you earlier and you mentioned you were going into the Air Force, What got you interested in going that route?
I really want to travel, and if I go in the air force I'll be doing a lot of that and I can learn something really good once i get out of it. I want to be a flight engineer, and it seems like it wont be aboring job.

Are you going to someday combine your knowledge of flight engineering and skateboarding to make a fully functional Hoverboard?
Haha if I could do that then I would probably make some money. So yes hopefully in a couple years you will see a Hoverboard.

Haha looking forward to that. You just got the cover of the new Focus magazine, that must have been a good feeling seeing that the first time. Is the footage for that trick in your Chapman video part?
Yeah it is, I actually almost died at that spot. I was trying a different trick other than the back nosegrind and I fell from the top and smacked my head on the stairs then just slid down them on my back and laid there for a little while.

Shit, that spot is the same one Pappalardo ate shit on super hard in his Mosaic part. Do you have any plans for any new video parts at the moment or are you just gonna try to stay focused on the Air Force?
No I don't plan on filming anymore video parts.. kinda sucks but oh well. I really wanna skate while I'm in the air force. I think I still can I don't see why I cant, but I'm pretty psyched on the Air Force right now.

Alright let's wrap it up. Any shout outs or thanks yous  to your sponsor's and friend's?

I'd like to thank you Jesse, Josh all of my friends my parents, Gregg at Chapman and I think thats about it.
